Do you want to do PhD/Doctoral research in psychological aspects of eating, weight & body image?
Professor Leah Brennan has a number of eating, weight and body image PhD projects available for talented and passionate students.
Successful applicants will be part of the productive and supportive Body Image, Eating and Weight Clinical Research Team at La Trobe University.

Eating disorders and higher weight

Eating disorders and weight related health conditions (e.g., PCOS, type 2 diabetes)

Psychological aspects of weight loss interventions (e.g., Ozempic, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery)

Trauma and higher weight

Weight stigma

Eating disorder treatment in rural Australia

Lived experience expert involvement in eating disorder research

La Trobe University Scholarships are available for PhD and Professional Doctorate students, application via a competitive process.
Successful scholarship applicants will receive a generous stipend, tuition fee scholarship and allowances.
PhD applications are continuously accepted throughout the year.
